10 Acts of Jihad in America That Americans Haven’t Heard About

Here are some recent acts of jihad on American soil that you may have missed – all from this spring and summer:

1. Seattle Muslim “on a jihad to kill Americans” prime suspect in four murder cases

Seattle Muslim Ali Muhammad Brown, reported KING 5 News last Tuesday, is “currently in jail on $5 million bail for the alleged murder of a college student in late June.” He has “already been charged with gunning down two men at 29th and King Street in Seattle’s Leschi neighborhood on June 1.” And he is “now the prime suspect in a fourth homicide.”

The report noted laconically in its fifth paragraph, without elaboration, that “multiple sources with knowledge of the investigation say Brown told police he carried out the murders because he was on a jihad to kill Americans.” NJ.com added [2], also deep in its story on Brown’s murders: “Prosecutors say Brown is a devout Muslim who had become angered by U.S. military intervention in the Islamic world, which he referred to as ‘evil.’”

If these news outlets were committed to informing Americans about the true nature and magnitude of the jihad threat, this seemingly insignificant detail would be in the headline and central to all the reporting on this case. But this myopia they share with the mainstream media in general.

2. Seattle Muslim who said gays should be “exterminated” gets ten years for arson at gay nightclub

Another Muslim from Seattle, Musab Mohamed Masmari, was sentenced several weeks ago to ten years in prison for pouring gasoline onto a stairway in a famous gay nightclub, Neighbours, and setting the stairway on fire last New Year’s Eve, when the club was crowded and – if the fire had not been put out – the carnage would have been great.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Todd Greenberg said: “One of Masmari’s close associates was interviewed by investigators and reported that Masmari confided in him that he ‘burned a gay club’ and that he did it because ‘what these people are doing is wrong.’” In another report from February, we learn that an informant told the FBI before this attack that Masmari could be planning “terrorist activity,” and that he had “opined that homosexuals should be exterminated.”

This incident should have been the impetus for a national discussion of violent Sharia enforcement in the U.S., and an examination of what could be done to stop Sharia vigilantism. Instead, the mainstream media largely ignored the obvious motive; in this report, it is discussed as “homophobia,” with no hint that this was one of the first incidents of violent Sharia enforcement in the U.S.

3. Friend of Boston Marathon jihad mass murderer found guilty of hindering FBI investigation

In late July, according to the Los Angeles Times, “a friend of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was convicted Monday of hindering the FBI investigation into the April 2013 blast by hiding Tsarnaev’s backpack from authorities. Azamat Tazhayakov, convicted in federal court on Boston, now faces up to 20 years in prison.”

Azamat Tazhayakov could be a fool. A dupe. Or as his defense attorneys have it, a “good kid.” A “mama’s boy.” Or he could be a true believer like his friend Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, hindering the investigation not solely out of loyalty to his friend, but because he believed in the same cause — that of jihad and Islam — that motivated Tsarnaev to commit mass murder at the Boston Marathon. But this question was evidently not broached at his trial, as illuminating as it may have been of Tazhayakov’s motives and actions. It appears that to have investigated such questions would have been “Islamophobic.”

4. Texas: Two Muslims arrested on jihad terror charges

Rahatul Ashikim Khan [6], an American citizen born in Bangladesh, wanted to join the Somali jihad terror group al-Shabaab. He was not Somali and did not have any connection to Somalia. He just wanted to wage jihad. Michael Todd Wolfe, a convert to Islam from Houston, wanted to head to Syria for his jihad. Wolfe’s wife told a person who turned out to be an undercover FBI agent that her husband longed to “perform a violent form of jihad.” Wolfe, she said, “just wants to hop into Syria. He’s just ready to die for his deen [religion].”

According to the FBI, Wolfe’s jihad aspirations didn’t end with Syria. He,

indicated that he had learned that al Qaeda in Syria was training brothers from other countries (foreign fighters) and then sending those fighters back from Syria to their home countries to conduct terror attacks.

5. Florida: Muslim who threatened “2nd 911″ found guilty of terror charges

In mid-June, a Tampa Muslim named Sami Osmakac was convicted of plotting to bomb a Tampa bar and then blow himself up in a jihad-martyrdom suicide attack in another crowded area of the city. Osmakac said of non-Muslims: “We will go after every one of them, their kindergartens, their shopping centers, their nightclubs, their police stations, their courthouses and everything until we have an Islamic state the whole world.”

6. Muslim who wanted to murder 100,000 Americans cops plea

Ahmed Abassi, according to the New York Post, wanted to derail a New York-to-Toronto Amtrak train. He also discussed with another jihad terrorist “a plot to release bacteria in the air or water to kill up to 100,000 people.” He was also, according to Manhattan US Attorney Preet Bharara, plotting to “commit acts of terror and develop a network of terrorists here” in the U.S.

Abassi could have gotten 50 years in prison, but he “avoided terrorism charges by pleading guilty in Manhattan federal court to lying on his visa application and to immigration officials when asked why he flew to the United States in 2013.” Consequently, he could soon be a free man. What could possibly go wrong?

mufid-elfgeeh_12518 [9]

7. Rochester, NY: Muslim charged with plotting jihad murder of U.S. troops and Shi’ites in western New York

The Associated Press reported on June 2 that Mufid Elfgeeh, a Muslim businessman in Rochester, New York, “bought two handguns and the silencers as part of a plan to kill members of the U.S. armed forces returning from war as well as Shiite Muslims in western New York.”

AP, anxious as ever to deflect focus away from Islamic jihad, in its lead paragraph here explains that Elfgeeh was plotting to kill troops “as vengeance for American actions overseas.” So why did he want to kill Shi’ites as well? As vengeance for Iran being a bitter enemy of his bitter enemy, the U.S.? Obviously Elfgeeh is a Sunni Islamic jihadist who wants to kill members of groups that he considers to be enemies of Islam. But the AP will never tell you that.

8. Virginia: Two Muslims convicted of piracy were ready to launch rocket-propelled grenade at Navy ship

Two Somali Muslims, Mohamed Abdi Jama and Abdicasiis Cabaase, each got over 40 years in prison last May for plotting to shoot a rocket-propelled grenade at the Navy ship Ashland.

They each got sentences slightly longer than 40 years, rather than life imprisonment, apparently because the RPG that one of them was holding was broken and incapable of firing, or could it be because U.S. District Judge Raymond A. Jackson believed that life imprisonment was cruel and unusual punishment? Is firing an RPG at a Navy ship not cruel and unusual punishment for those on the ship?

Saynab-Hussein [11]

9. Minneapolis: Muslima gets 3 years probation for lying about funding jihad group [12]

Also in May, according to KSTP.com, a Muslim woman in Minneapolis named Saynab Abdirashid Hussein got three years of probation for lying to a grand jury about her efforts to raise money for jihad terrorists in Somalia.

“On June 16, 2009,” said the report, “the defendant lied to a United States Grand Jury saying that she did not participate in raising money for the individuals who left Minnesota to fight against Ethiopian troops then present in Somalia assisting with the internationally-recognized Transitional Federal Government of Somalia.” Participate with whom? Where are her partners in this endeavor now? What are they doing? Does anyone know? Does anyone care?

10. Houston: Muslim arrested for making terroristic threats and displaying hoax bomb after four-hour standoff at Wal-mart

Mehrzad Malekzadeh was waving a knife around. He also had what police described as “several unknown devices” in his pockets. After a four-hour standoff with police in the Wal-mart parking lot, which kept customers trapped inside the store, Malekzadeh was arrested and charged with “making terroristic threats and displaying a hoax bomb, which are both class A misdemeanor charges.” Bond was set at $5,000.

America, here is your future. Here is the future you have chosen by electing leaders who are — almost to a man or woman — willfully ignorant about the nature and magnitude of the jihad threat, and who complacently trust that a Muslim community in the U.S. that is largely under the control of the Muslim Brotherhood will clean its own house. Here is the future you have chosen by standing by and passively acquiescing to the mainstream media’s willful ignorance regarding this threat, and its demonization and marginalization of everyone — everyone — who told you about this threat honestly.

Incidents like this will one day, not too long from now, be a more or less daily occurrence in the United States. You can’t say you weren’t warned.

FERGUSON AND THE REAL RACE WAR

Here are political analyses regarding the Michael Brown case in Ferguson, Missouri that you won’t hear anywhere else:

August 20th 2014
BILL WHITTLE: FERGUSON AND THE REAL RACE WAR

Since the shooting of Michael Brown by a white policeman and the ensuing riots and looting in Ferguson, MO, Americans have been told, yet again, that there is an epidemic of crime against black people in this country. But is there really a race war, and if so, which side is actually waging it?

Alfonzo Rachel: Zo’s Take on Ferguson, MO: Democrat Cities are Dangerous Places to Live

St. Louis, LA, NYC, Milwaukee, Atlanta, Oakland, Cleveland…what do they have in common? They are all run by Democrats, and all have problems with police brutality.

Evan Sayet: Why Jews Vote Democrat

American Jews overwhelmingly tend to vote Democrat for one simple reason: they see the choice as being between 1) the Democrats and their belief in nothing versus 2) the Republicans and their beliefs based on their Christian faith and heritage.

Given that choice, then, rather than side with people of faith – which they see as a different and potentially antagonistic belief system – they feel safer in the party that is devoid of any values or convictions.

The “thinking” behind this is that, if people believe in things then they might fight for those things. They might even commit atrocities in their name. Only those who believe in nothing have nothing to kill or fight for. If everyone just believed in nothing, the “thinking” goes: then the Jews would be safe, for if one doesn’t believe in anything then they can’t believe the Jews are bad.

These people believe that it is beliefs and not what was believed that led to the Holocaust and to all of the other world’s atrocities. It’s why the Modern Liberal’s Blueprint for Utopia as rendered by John Lennon sought a world without countries, religions or any other values or convictions (just all the people living for “today.”)

This fear was perhaps best articulated by Rabbi Joshua Hammerman who declared that “Emboldened faithful can do insane things, like burn mosques [or by extension engage in pogroms, crusades and holocausts], bash gays [or, by extension, bash Jews] or indiscriminately banish immigrants [including the Jews].”

How deep – and insane – is this fear? Consider that what led Rabbi Hammerman to feel such terror was not a meeting of the Ku Klux Klan or a gathering of Neo-Nazis. It was his horror a few years back, over the possibility that the proud Christian Tim Tebow might lead his team to the Super Bowl which would then “embolden” his “faithful,” leading to the possibility of rampages and atrocities.

The Modern Liberal is, of course, wrong. In fact, he is as wrong as wrong can be. First, he is wrong to believe that a nation without values will keep the Jews safe. In fact, a nation without values is exactly the one that would be willing to commit atrocities because there’s nothing morally to stop them. Further, as anyone who knows my work knows: Indiscriminateness of thought does not lead to indiscriminateness of policy. Instead it leads invariably and inevitably to siding with evil over good and wrong over right.

This is why the Jews are not only typically the first target of the Liberal but the people he has the most hatred for. Witness the singling out of Israel for divestment and boycott and the blood libels offered by the likes of Jimmy Carter and John Kerry.

Secondly, he is wrong about Christians being antagonistic to Judaism. Yes, in the past – in the Old World – Christians saw Jews as an a different religion, one that, if adopted by their children would see them denied eternal life. But American Christianity is different.

From the start – in starting this nation and from the moment the settlers arrived – American Christians saw the Jews differently. They saw Judaism not as another religion but as the antecedent and a necessary and true part of their own heritage and beliefs. After all, not only was their savior a Jew, but he made it clear that he’d come not to change His father’s laws – the laws that the Jews brought to the world. American Christians – unlike any other Christians in the past (and elsewhere today) – see Judaism as part of their own religion and whole-heartedly embrace the Jews, the Jewish people and Israel.

Are there Christian anti-Semites? Of course. But anti-Semitism from the Right in America is episodic. Jew-hatred from the Left, on the other hand, is official and endemic – in the universities, in the media which spins stories about the Middle East to make the Jews look bad and culpable in the attacks upon them and in the Democratic Party of Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama.
That the Christian Right overwhelmingly tends to embrace Judaism is evident in the phrase they use to describe America’s heritage: Judeo-Christian, and in the overwhelming support for Israel found in the Republican Party and its supporters.

Jew-hatred is endemic to the Left – be it National Socialism (Nazism), Communism or today’s Democratic Party. For the Jews, prosperity and safety are not found in siding with those who reject all values but in those who have the better values. It’s not a coincidence that the first Judeo-Christian nation in all of human history is also the place that has provided the Jews with the most welcoming, free and safe existence since the original land of Israel. Nor is it surprising that the Europe the Democrats seek to emulate was not only the home of Nazism and Communism but today is seeing a resurgence of Jew-hatred.

But I’m floored when I walk into the joint I’m

Say goodbye full time

Son of Hamas founder converts to Christianity, goes on CNN, exposes Hamas

Hamas does not want to coexist with Israel. It’s that simple.

This is from Mossab’s Wikipedia page. He was also an undercover spy for Israel. God bless this incredible man:

Mosab Hassan Yousef (Arabic: مصعب حسن يوسف‎) (born 1978)[3] is a Palestinian and son of a Hamas founder and leader SheikhHassan Yousef.[1] From 1997 to 2007, he worked undercover for Israel’s internal security service Shin Bet, which considered him its most valuable source within the Hamas leadership.[1]

According to Israeli sources, the information Yousef supplied prevented dozens of suicide attacks and assassinations of Israelis, exposed numerous Hamas cells,[1] and assisted Israel in hunting down many militants, including his own father.[4] In March 2010, he published his autobiography titled Son of Hamas.[5]

Yousef has since converted to Christianity and moved to California.[2] His request for political asylum in the United States was granted pending a routine background check on June 30, 2010.[6]

Speed Limit Raised on Sections of Interstate 80, Interstate 380

DO SPEED LIMITS SAVE LIVES?
Read the story below and then watch this video:

Reported by WNEP on 2014-07-23 12:57

Drivers on one section of the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Harrisburg can now drive 70 miles per hour.  Soon, drivers will see the speed limit rise from 65 to 70 miles per hour on two stretches of interstate highways in our area.

In a statement released by PennDOT Wednesday morning, officials announce Interstate 380 and Interstate 80 will see a speed limit of 70 miles per hour.

The head of PennDOT calls it a pilot program, a test to see which other parts of the interstate system in Pennsylvania could see a higher speed limit.  The speed limit on sections of 80 and 380 is set to raise on August 11th.

21 miles of Interstate 380 will soon see the higher speed limit on the stretch that runs from the intersection of I-84, south to Monroe County to Exit 3, The Mt. Pocono-Pocono Pines Exit.

Also, 88-miles of I-80 will have the higher speed limit.  It starts from Exit 101 near Dubois in Clearfield County.  Drivers will be able to drive 70 miles per hour to mile marker 189 in Clinton County near Jersey Shore.

PennDOT says it will collect data from these locations and evaluate other sections of the interstate to see if it is safe and efficient to increase the speed limit in more areas next spring.

The new speed limits means the work zone speeds will be moved to 55-miles per hour up from 40 which raises safety concerns. That came with a warning Wednesday from the Pennsylvania State Police.

Troopers will begin conducting an operation it calls, ‘orange squeeze’ where patrolmen will be running radar inside of construction vehicles instead of patrol cars.

No word yet on why those sections of interstate were chosen for the higher speed limit or how much it will cost to change the speed limit signs.

Mike Rowe’s S.W.E.A.T. Pledge lays out the 12 steps to reclaiming America’s spirit

Former Dirty Jobs host and jack-of-all-trades Mike Rowe has a different perspective on “Yes we can.”

Rowe posted his S.W.E.A.T. (Skills & Work Ethic Aren’t Taboo) Pledge on Facebook to get ordinary Americans up and running and back to work again, IJ Review reports.

Below is Rowe’s 12-point creed:

  1. I believe that I have won the greatest lottery of all time. I am alive. I walk the Earth. I live in America. Above all things, I am grateful.
  2. I believe that I am entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Nothing more. I also understand that “happiness” and the “pursuit of happiness” are not the same thing.
  3. I believe there is no such thing as a “bad job.” I believe that all jobs are opportunities, and it’s up to me to make the best of them.
  4. I do not “follow my passion.” I bring it with me. I believe that any job can be done with passion and enthusiasm.
  5. I deplore debt, and do all I can to avoid it. I would rather live in a tent and eat beans than borrow money to pay for a lifestyle I can’t afford.
  6. I believe that my safety is my responsibility. I understand that being in “compliance” does not necessarily mean I’m out of danger.
  7. I believe the best way to distinguish myself at work is to show up early, stay late, and cheerfully volunteer for every crappy task there is.
  8. I believe the most annoying sounds in the world are whining and complaining. I will never make them. If I am unhappy in my work, I will either find a new job, or find a way to be happy.
  9. I believe that my education is my responsibility, and absolutely critical to my success. I am resolved to learn as much as I can from whatever source is available to me. I will never stop learning, and understand that library cards are free.
  10. I believe that I am a product of my choices – not my circumstances. I will never blame anyone for my shortcomings or the challenges I face. And I will never accept the credit for something I didn’t do.
  11. I understand the world is not fair, and I’m OK with that. I do not resent the success of others.
  12. I believe that all people are created equal. I also believe that all people make choices. Some choose to be lazy. Some choose to sleep in. I choose to work my butt off.

Rowe revealed that the S.W.E.A.T Pledge is part of an effort to advertise the availability of $1 million in scholarships through his website mikeroweWORKS.

For Democrats, politics is heroic

Legends

This is just a little insight into the minds of Democrats, for any conservative who wants to take advantage of it. I say this as someone who agrees with the left on virtually nothing, but nonetheless knows a lot of Democrats and considers some of them pretty good friends.

If conservatives want to understand what informs the thinking of Democrats, it’s important to start with this: For Democratic Party true believers, politics is heroic. They are convinced that society is inherently unfair and unjust. It would be going too far to say they think human nature is inherently evil, but what they do think is that it only takes a few evil people with lots of money to rig the societal system so that it hurts the powerless.

That’s where they see government coming in. They dream of a heroic figure who emerges as a leader and wields the levers of government skillfully and benevolently to mitigate the harm done by unchecked greed, ignorance, racism, etc. This is why liberals so often talk of “the struggle,” which they never really acknowledge can be won. Without strong, benevolent government constantly at the controls to make sure horrible and powerful people don’t gain advantage over everyone else, we are always looking at the virtual guarantee of widespread societal injustice.

They viewed the Kennedys as heroic figures because the force of their personalities – Jack and Bobby in particular – allowed liberals to envision them just the type of leader who would bravely stand up to the powerful moneyed interests on behalf of the people. If you look at Democrat presidents in movies and on television – like President Bartlett on The West Wing or President Palmer on 24 – they convey the same kinds of heroic traits in their personalities.

In Barack Obama, they invested the same kinds of hopes. There was nothing in his track record to suggest he could do any of it, but the force of his personality enabled liberals to see him as the sort of Sun King who could somehow make it happen just by being who he was (or who they thought he was). They see the judiciary in the same way, if not even more so, which is one reason they are going so completely insane over the Hobby Lobby ruling. They think the job of a judge is to help the women, the children and the poor, and this “apply the law” stuff makes no sense whatsoever to them.

Conservatives and liberals want two totally different things from government. Conservatives want competent administration of the limited number of things government really needs to be involved with, and otherwise a respect for private institutions and indivduals to be able to take care of things for themselves. Liberals want a hero – a super-figure who will emerge on the scene, set wrongs right, feed the hungry, save the planet and make us all feel better. They truly believe that none of this will happen unless government does it, and that a heroic-type political leader is what we need to inspire the rest of us to do what’s right and just.

Now I am not suggesting there are no cynical power-mongers in the Democratic Party. Of course there are. The political consultants and propagandists who serve Democrats – and I include the mainstream media in that – are some of the slimiest people you could ever meet (second only to many of the politicians, and sadly maintaining only a slight lead over many of their Republican counterparts). The permanent political class in Washington is dominated by these cynical bastards – people who would just as soon eat your children for lunch as exercise the slighest virtue, if it would benefit them politically to do so.

But I want you to understand the mindset of the Democrats’ base. They don’t trust individuals. They don’t trust private institutions (especially businesses). Many of them don’t trust churches and have little if any use for God.

But they keep the dream alive of a heroic government, led by a heroic political figure, that will somehow use the power of government to make everything fair and equal and wonderful for everyone.

So the next time you’re talking to a liberal and it seems like you’re talking past each other and not even speaking the same language, keep this in mind. You don’t think like this. They do.

Supreme Court rules cell phones cannot be searched without a warrant

Police need a warrant to search the cell phone of a person who has been arrested, absent an unusual circumstance, a unanimous Supreme Court ruled Wednesday.

“Modern cell phones are not just another technological convenience. With all they contain and all they may reveal, they hold for many Americans ‘the privacies of life,’” Chief Justice John Roberts wrote. “The fact that technology now allows an individual to carry such information in his hand does not make the information any less worthy of the protection for which the Founders fought. Our answer to the question of what police must do before searching a cell phone seized incident to an arrest is accordingly simple — get a warrant.”
