Virginia Prodan was an attorney in Communist Romania under the rule of Nicolae Ceausescu. She became a target of the Securitate, Romania’s secret police, when she became a Christian and began fighting religious persecution in that country. She was granted political asylum by the Reagan Administration in 1988, and currently practices law in Dallas, Texas.
Virginia Prodan is a speaker for Texas Eagle Forum and an Allied Attorney with the Alliance Defense Fund. She founded her own law firm, Virginia Prodan Law Firm, www.vplegal.com in 2005. She works on immigration law cases.
